Peacefully on May 8, 2024 Carol, beloved wife of Ian (John). Dear mother of Dianne (deceased), Ian (Deb), Ruth and Chris (Doug). Cherished grandmother of Stephen, Allan (deceased), Jamie, Erin and Dan. Sister to Bill Roberts and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was well loved, her smile filled the room. She will be greatly missed by those that knew her.
Miss Me But Let Me Go
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little – but not too long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the love that we once shared
Miss me-but let me go
For this is a journey that we all must take
And each must go alone.
It is all part of the Master’s plan
A step on the road to home
When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds

A tree will be planted in memory of Carol in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 22nd Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
