BRUYEA, Carol (nee Waite) (1942-2024) – It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Carol at the Hospice Quinte on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024. Loving daughter of the late Rush and Bessie Waite. Beloved wife of the late Charles Bruyea. Dear mother to Edmund Bruyea, and Michelle Lafferty (Ian). Devoted grandmother to Eddie and Emma. Survived by her sister Sharon Waite, and sister-in-law Linda Dixon (Bill). Will also be missed by nieces, nephews, many friends, and her four legged companion Buddy. Carol had grew up on the family farm in Hilton, Ontario where her love of the farm life and caring for animals began. In 2004, her dream of owning a farm with her son Ed was realized. Predeceased by brother John Waite and sister Shelly Gregory (late Earl). In keeping with Carol’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Hospice Quinte would be appreciated by the family. Cremation arrangements are under the care of RUSHNELL FUNERAL HOME, 60 Division Street, Trenton (613-392-2111).
