It is with sadness the family of Carol Anne Ching (MacGregor) announce her passing which occurred surrounded by love and family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, November 3, 2023. Born on November 22, 1949, she was aged 73 years of Red Point, PE.
She leaves behind her best friend and beloved husband of 52 years Sterling and will be remembered as a loving mother to Philip (Amy), Penny and Dennis (Harmony). In addition, she will be missed by her four grandchildren Samuel, Elijah, Lainey, and Raeanna. Carol Anne is survived by her sister Sharon Ching (Ray), and nieces Lori MacAulay (Mike), Luanne Ching, and Tracy Bishop (Steve). Predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Laura MacGregor, an infant brother, and brother Murray. Also, by her in-laws Alvah and Grace Ching, and their infant son and daughter Shirley.
Carol Anne loved spending time with family and celebrating holidays and birthdays together. It gave her great enjoyment to work alongside her husband everyday whether it was delivering eggs to stores or going to cut wood. She was a faithful woman who loved the Lord. She devoted every moment either to family or the church. She was active in the Kingsboro Baptist Church in many of its activities as well as the South Lake Christian Church. She loved serving with the ladies in the WMS and singing in and helping out with the choirs. She possessed a kindness and compassion rarely seen. She was an extraordinary baker and seamstress. She had a smile and contagious laugh that would brighten even the darkest day. She was fierce and fought hard to remain here with us for as long as possible. Carol will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home where visiting hours will take place on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A funeral service will be held at the Kingsboro Baptist Church, Kingsboro, on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 2:00pm. Interment will follow in the Kingsboro cemetery. If so desired, donations in memory of Carol Anne can be made to the Kingsboro Cemetery Fund.
