Peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 14th, 2024 at Bayshore Transitional Care (Windsor Retirement Home) at the age of 78. Loved and missed by his son Thomas Garbig, and close friend Paula Letts. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Evelyn Garbig. A native of Toronto, Carl was a veteran of the Canadian Military more specifically he was a member of the Royal Canadian Airforce RCAF in the 1960’s. He later went on to work at Bombardier in a quality assurance role and subsequently he worked with Saunders Aircraft.
Interment took place in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Toronto, where he was laid to rest beside his parents. Donations, in lieu of flowers, to the Canadian Cancer Society.
