Bradley A. Stewart, known affectionately as Stewie to his friends and family, passed away peacefully, at his residence, on September 25, 2024, at the age of 67. Born on April 26, 1957 in Woodstock, Ontario, Brad’s life was characterized by his kind-hearted nature, his generous spirit, and his friendly demeanour that drew people to him.
Brad spent an impressive 47 years at Ingersoll Paper Box, where his dedication and work ethic were as steadfast as his commitment to the community. He was not only a valued employee, but also an active participant in his workplace’s culture and events. Stewie was a board member and a volunteer at the Beachville Legion. Also his involvement with the Beachville Baptist Church as a long-time member and Trustee spoke volumes about his faith and his desire to serve others.
An avid outdoorsman, Brad found joy and tranquility in the embrace of nature. He was a snowmobile enthusiast who loved the thrill of the ride and the beauty of the winter landscape, but more than that, the comradery with the guys. His passion for skeet shooting was another testament to his love for the outdoors and the skills he honed over the years. Brad’s love for barbecues was legendary; he was the quintessential host, bringing together friends and family for countless gatherings filled with laughter, stories, and the aroma of delicious food.
Brad’s home was a haven for his beloved pets, from Bucky to Jade, each of whom he cherished deeply. His pets were more than companions; they were a part of his family and his heart. He was also an avid Euchre player, a hobby that showcased his competitive spirit and his knack for strategy, all while enjoying the camaraderie of the game.
He leaves behind a loving family who will miss him dearly: his sister Karen Stewart (Tye), brothers Brian and his twin Barry Stewart, sister Cathy Stewart, and sister Tracey (Rick) Townsend. Brad’s memory will also be cherished by his many nieces and nephews: Tanya, Curtis, Jason, Rebecca, Steven, Doug, Darrell, Kevin, Tamara, Brandon, Nikki, Adam, Hannah, and Sarrah, as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews. His extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide circle of friends will fondly remember the warmth and light he brought into their lives.
Brad was predeceased by his parents, Shirley and Arthur Stewart, who instilled in him the values of kindness and generosity that he carried throughout his life. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his legacy of love, friendship, and community involvement will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to cross his path.
As we say goodbye to Brad, we celebrate a life well-lived, a life filled with joy, service, and an unwavering commitment to the things he loved most. Brad’s memory will live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the profound impact he had on the lives of so many. He was a beacon of kindness in a world that so often needs it, and his spirit will continue to guide us in the days to come.
As we reflect on Brad’s journey, we take comfort in knowing that his was a life truly well-lived, and his presence will forever be felt by those who loved him.

Cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to join the family on Saturday, September 28th, 2024 from 1pm to 4pm at the Beachville Legion, 39 Zorra Line, Beachville Ontario. 519-423-6363.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Beachville Legion or the Beachville Baptist Church would be appreciated.
