Bonita Phyllis (Skillen) Brown
1945-2024
Bonita Phyllis (Skillen) Brown at the age of 79. Bonita will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Heather Leigh (Rod), Linda Bennett, and Thomas Skillen, along with nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, many cousins and her dear friends. She was predeceased by parents, Kenneth and Irene (Lariviere) Skillen. Brothers Gary Skillen, Bruce Skillen, husband William Brown, niece Andrea Skillen, and many cousins. Bonita has always been thoughtful of others and especially to her siblings. After our Mom passed Bonnie took care of us over the summer and then went on to teaching. After that she and William Brown, travelled for business and eventually ended up in Tillsonburg, Ontario. We will remember all the times that Bonita invited us to their home and when she and William came to visit each of us. It was precious of Bonita and William to watch over us. A public visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 10:00am-12:00pm followed by a memorial service for Bonnie at Ostrander’s Funeral Home. A reception will be held, location to be announced. In lieu of flowers: Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Charity of your choice and can be done directly with the charity or via cheque payable to the charity by contracting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg, ON N4G 3T 6 (519) 842-5221.
