It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Beverley «Bev» Bachner at Cornwall Hospice on Friday December 8th, 2023 at age of 89. Bev will be sadly missed by her loving husband Renny of 58 years; her beloved children Reynold «RJ» (Katherine), Pamela (Pierre) and Laura; her cherished grandchildren Daniel (Fiona), Alycia, Geordie, Melissa, Kieran, Breina, Aidan and Thora. Bev will also be sadly missed by four cherished great grandchildren Matthew, Lily, Nathaniel and Jaxson, She was predeceased by her parents Levi and Phyllis Dick (née Clark), her son Matthew Bachner, her sister Barbara and her brother James (Helen). Bev was a native of Montreal, before moving to Pierrefonds from 1960-1995 and then retiring in Green Valley, ON. You may recognize Bev from her many years of volunteer work with the Glengarry Memorial Hospital. In keeping with Bev’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Lancaster, ON on Saturday December 16th, 2023 at 11:00am. The family will receive friends at the Munro and Morris Funeral Home in Lancaster, ON on Saturday December 16th from 9:00am until 10:45am. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro and Morris Funeral Home, 46 Oak St. Lancaster, ON, (613) 347-3629.
