The death occurred peacefully at the Western Hospital,
Alberton, on September 30, 2024, of Beatrice Ida Buote, of the
Mapleood Manor, Alberton, and formerly of St. Roch, age 93 years.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph Maxime Buote, she was born September
2, 1931. She was the daughter of Oville J. and Margaret (nee Martin)
Chaisson.
Loving mother to Leonard (Barbara), St. Roch, Brenda
(Phillip) Richard, St. Roch, Sheila (Lyman) Arsenault, Palmer Road,
Cindy (John) Pitre, Kildare, Jeanette Dawson (Blair), Charlottetown,
Marie, Shirley, and Christine Buote, Alberton House, Alberton, Diane
Buote, St. Roch, and Joanne Buote, Charlottetown. She will be sadly
missed by her seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Dear
sister of Louise (late Bill) Gavin, Alberton, Lucy (late Billy)
McHugh, Tignish, Nelson Chaisson, St. Roch, Alma Savage, Ontario,
Thelma (Stewart) Arsenault, Ontario, and Roger (Doreen) Chaisson,
Tignish. She is also survived by sister-in-laws, Minnie (late Fred)
Gaudet, Tignish, and Jean (late Ben) Buote, of
Alberton.
Predeceased by siblings, Clarence Chaisson, and Evelyn
Gaudet, and by sons-in-law, Eric Dawson, and Randy
Dumville.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours
Wednesday, 7:00 to 9:00pm. Funeral on Thursday, October 3rd, from St.
Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, at 11 a.m., Rev. Tim Broderick,
Celebrant. Interment in the Church cemetery.
