WHITE, Beatrice Pearl “Betty” ~ age 90 of Middleton, NS passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023 in the Valley Hospice, Kentville. Born in St. Croix Cove, Annapolis County she was a daughter of the late Frank and Beatrice (Weir) Poole. Betty loved the outdoors, especially fishing, gardening, walking and camping. She loved her family dearly, especially all her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Edith White, Middleton; stepdaughter, Karen (Royal) Strong, Coldbrook; son, Gary White (Sandra Durling), Nictaux; brother, Frank (Eleanor) Poole, Falmouth; grandchildren, Patricia Ann Robar (Aggie Pinch), Kentville; Vanessa Robar (Darryl Knots), Wilmot; Veronica (Terry) Mulvale, Middleton; Angela Durling, Middleton; Kaitlynn (Rob) Hill, Calgary; Jason Strong, Coldbrook; Emily Strong, Harmony; Desiree Rice, Kentville; great grandchildren, Jordan Martin; Aleash Pettipas; Morgan Pettipas; Kayla Stevenson; Cassandra Durling; Samantha Gaudet; great great grandchildren, Skyler, Faith, Quinn, Avalyn and Alenia. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Victor; sisters Harriett, Esther, Ethel “Peggy”, Bernice “Alice”; brothers Howard, Gordon “Lester” and Alton “Manasseh”. In keeping with Betty’s wishes, a private family graveside service will be held in St. Croix Cove Cemetery with Rev. Leon Langille officiating. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Port George Recreation Centre to be announced. Donations in memory may be made to the Valley Hospice or to a charity of your choice.
