Bellemare, Barbara (Kyte) (December 3, 1929 – February 24, 2024)
It is with deep sadness that we the family wish to announce the peaceful passing of our much-loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Barbara (Kyte) Bellemare, a resident of Secord Trails LTC, Ingersoll and formerly a longtime resident of Tillsonburg, on February 24, 2024, at the age of 94. Barbara will be remembered for her devout Christian Faith and as a dedicated member of the Tillsonburg Bible Chapel, where for years she was a Sunday school teacher and volunteer with the Awana Kids Club. Always a loving mother and mother-in-law and grandmother to: Cheryl Moggach (late Gary), of Courtland and their sons Jeff (Chris) and Scott (Connie); Brian (Ann) Bellmare, of Tillsonburg and children Tamara, Brianne, Miranda, Evan, and Nathaniel; Sandra (David) Hynes, of Woodstock and their children Dannica and David; Janet (Tim Conradi), of Texas, USA and their sons Maxwell and Charles; Paul (Christina) Bellemare, of Kingston and their children Jack and Lucy (Connor); Coleen Schnurr (Eric Hodgins), of Waterloo and children Jade and Jocelyn. Special great-grandmother of: Cameron, Austin; Brielle; Mikaela, Oliver; Mary, Annabel. Lovingly remembered by her sister Alice (Wilfred) Cowan, sisters-in-law Jean Kyte and Joy Fletcher, brother-in-law Garry Walker, as well as by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Always a devoted and loving wife, Barbara is now joyfully reunited with Leon in Heaven. Predeceased by her parents Floyd and Marguerite (Lymburner) Kyte and by her siblings Harold Kyte, Gladys Fletcher, Isobel (late Rene Covey), Mary Beth Bruce, Charlotte Walker, and Doug Kyte.

In keeping with Barbara’s expressed wishes, a traditional public Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes Chapel, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg, by Pastor Jim Noseworthy. Public visitation will be held on Saturday, between 12:00 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. A reception follows at Tillsonburg Bible Chapel (63 Queen St, Tillsonburg). Spring interment will be held later in Delmer Cemetery.
