It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Barbara(Barb) passed away peacefully
in the early hours of July 4th, 2023.
Barb was born Nov 21,1962 in Halifax to David and Patricia(Fitzgerald) Hall. She grew up in a large family with 3 brothers and 1 sister. Barb planted her roots in Bedford where she raised her 5 children; Brandon Mitchell, Joshua, Samantha and Devan. She was a loving grandmother to 9 grandchildren, who she adored. She was so very proud of her kids and grandkids. Barb was an accomplishad artist, she considered painting another way of keeping a diary. When she wasn’t painting, you could find her performing Reiki as she was quite the Reiki practitioner. She was so passionate about her collection of crystals, it was something she lived by, her spiritual beliefs were beyond beautiful. For those who knew her, knew she also had quite the green thumb. She took pride in her gardens, she loved working with the earth. She couldn’t wait to see her hard work bloom year upon year. She loved life and all the people who crossed paths with her. She had many friends and aquaiatances who will miss her dearly.
Barbara leaves behind her children, Brandon, Mitchell(Britney), Joshua (Yayi), Samantha(Coady), Devan (Katherine) and her grandchidren; Ava, Landon, Adelynn, Selina, Georgia, Ember, Delaney, Brielle and Josie, her mother Patricia, brothers Mark (suzanne) Scott (Tania), nephews, Jakob, Zack, Joshua and Benjamin. She is predeceased by her father David, sister Angela, and brother Michael.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses from the QEII Infirmary for the care and compassion they showed Barb during her short stay.
Until we meet again, your light will forever shine. Your memory will live on through us all, your children, grandchildren, and all the souls you have touched and inspired during your journey on earth.
Following Barbs wishes, cremation has taken place and we invite you to join our family in honoring Barb’s memory. A visitation will be held at TK Barnard Funeral Home, 85 Sackville Cross Road Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia on Sunday August 13th from 1pm-4pm.
