It is with great sadness that the family of Austin Hollohan, age 76 years, announce his passing on July 2 nd , 2024, at his home in Summerville (Gods Country as he always said). Predeceased by his son Shane (2004), his parents Alphonsus & Alice Mary Hollohan, Mother and Father-in-law Thomas & Blanch Furlong. Brothers Adrian Hollohan, Tony Hollohan, infant sister Geraldine. Brothers in law Gary Furlong, Tobias Greening, Gerry Gallant & Dwaine Maillet & Joe Kern. Leaving to mourn with fond loving memories his wife Bonnie, his daughter Amanda (Ron Callahan), sons Steven (Crystal), Corey (Lisa), daughter in law Debra. His grandchildren Alexis (Mark Yetman), Brooke (Kyle Churchill), Courtney & Logan. Step-grandchildren Jordan, Jeffrey (Keisha) & Shannon (Jordan), great-grandchildren Parker, Dawson, Sophie, Grace, Kaylee, Jaxson, Dominic, Arianna, Coleson, Scarlett & Deklyn. Austin dearly loved his grandchildren. Always loved to torment, play a joke or say something that would have them saying “POP” and just laugh at him. Austin had a special place in his heart for Kylie (Moss) who they cared for and loved as if she was their own granddaughter. Siblings- Mary Turpin (Tom), Rose Kern, Joe (Debra), Sadie Hollohan (Joe), Annie McGillivary (Steve), Kathleen Gibbons (Todd), Alphonsus (Lynda), Terry (Sue), Linda Gauither (Roger), Ethel Hollohan.In laws- Ann Hollohan, Joan Greening (Manny), Donald Furlong (Heather), Jackie Prince (Lar), Joe Furlong, William Furlong (Patricia), Fred Furlong (Shirley), Gert Gallant, Pierce Furlong (Leona). Numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Resting at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church Summerville.
Visitation
July 4th: 2pm onwards
July 5th: 9am – 9pm
Funeral Service Saturday, July 6 th , 2024, at 11:00am with interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Summerville.
