Passed away peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, Audrey Giroux (nee Fyke) of Finch, age 90. Beloved wife of the late Rene Giroux. Loving mother of Perry Giroux (Cindy) of Moose Creek. Dear sister of Jack Fyke of Ottawa. Audrey will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Jason Giroux (Christina), Jennifer Liebmann (Michael), Andrew Giroux (Amanda), Joshua te Grootenhuis, Georgia te Grootenhuis and 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents William and Nellie Fykes (nee St. Pierre), her children Sherry and Mike Giroux, her sisters Alice Fyke, Gladys Cass, Marjorie Fyke- Connors and her brothers Dick, Dennis, Junior, Cyril, and Lloyd Fyke. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
A private family graveside service will be held at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
