Arthur François d’Entremont, age 81, of
Lower West Pubnico, died January 30th, 2024 in
Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Lower West Pubnico, he
was a son of the late Benedict Augustin and Emilia Agnes
(d’Entremont) d’Entremont. He is
survived by his wife Jeanne Celeste (LeBLanc) d’Entremont,
sons; François (Duana), Little Harbour Road and Derek
(Joelle), Middle West Pubnico, brothers; Gregory
‘Greg’ (Van), Canaan, Perry (Holly), Lower West
Pubnico, Lyndon (Heidi), East Pubnico, Kenny (Yvette), Lower West
Pubnico, sisters; Myrtle d’Eon, Gladys Shand, both of Middle
West Pubnico, Ella (Doug Sears), Canaan, grandchildren; Drew, Josie,
Tiffany, Morgan & Kristen and great grandchild,
Rylie. He was predeceased by his son William
‘Billy’ and brother Steve. Visitation
will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 1 to 2 pm followed by a
Mass of Christian burial at 2 pm all taking place in Saint
Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, Middle West Pubnico, with
Father Matthieu Agbaya officiating. The service will be live
streamed on the West Pubnico Funeral Home and Cremation Services
Facebook site beginning at 2 pm. Internment will be in the
Parish Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to Saint
Peter’s Church Heating Fund or to a charity of
choice. Online condolences may be forwarded to the family at

to the West Pubnico Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Middle West

Arthur was a retired fisherman, a job that he loved
doing. He enjoyed camping and making friends wherever he
went. He also enjoyed his trips to the wharf and local
coffee shop to see his friends and to see how things were
going. He will be missed.
