Passed peacefully at Health Sciences North Hospital on the 9th of Oct 2024.
Predeceased by his loving wife Susanne (2017) and daughter Eva (2018). Survived by his sons Stephan (Amanda) and Thomas (Angie) and son in law Karl.
Art cherished his eight grand children, Jacob, Emma, Daniel, Lauren, Nathan, Ryan, Josef & Lena.
Art was born in Beamsville, ON and had 4 brothers & 5 sisters. His passion of learning led to a career in education where he earned his Master’s Degree. He retired as principal after 32 years with the Rainbow District School Board. In retirement he was able to immerse himself in his love of cooking, travelling & tending his garden, of which he was most proud.
He will be missed by his family and friends.
A private family service will take place. Donations can be sent to Health Sciences North Hospital Foundation.
