Obituary
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Antonio Santagada on July 8, 2023, at the age of 83.
Beloved husband of 60 years to Rita. Caring and devoted father to the late Maria Teresa, Frank (Diane), Carlo (Janet) and Antonella (the late Armando). Proud Nonno to Anthony, Juliano, Julia, Nicholas, Angelo, Celina and Samantha.
One of Antonio’s passions was enjoying the outdoors, he loved to go out on the lake for a day of fishing or heading out into the forest for a hunting expedition, where he also enjoyed another passion… which was to cook; you could request any dish as long it was a pasta dish. His famous pasta dishes were enjoyed by all that were in his presence. Antonio also loved to socialize, especially in a game of cards with all his brother in-laws, where we would all witness his competitive spirit. Although, it was said that Antonio’s greatest social gift was the ability to craft the perfect toast for any occasion on a whim.
Antonio will be fondly remembered in the hearts of all his family and friends.
