Anthony Dennis Rando – age 71 of Knoxville went to meet his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, after a courageous battle due to complications from prostate cancer and kidney and heart failure. Tony passed away peacefully at UT Medical Center. He was surrounded by his family and close friends as he left this world. Tony was well-known as the longtime owner of Carletta and Missy’s Furniture Store in North Knoxville. Tony was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Knoxville in 1974 after meeting the love of his life and his wife of 37 years, Judy Ann Peacock Rando. Tony was an avid karaoke fan. He was also a talented salesman and many white-gloved Eskimos have purchased ketchup popsicles from him. Tony’s other loves were Elvis, Johnny Cash, Catholic relics, a great steak, and Nathan’s hotdogs. But more than anything else, he cherished time spent with his girls.
