Peacefully at Chartwell Woodhaven Long Term Care Residence, Markham, on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, Anne Doherty, in her 99th year, beloved wife of the late Frederick Doherty. Loving mother of Stephen and his wife Gayle, Raymond and his wife Leigh, Michael, Tom, Jo-Anne and her husband Gordon Jessup and predeceased by Brian Doherty and Lorraine Radke. Loving mother-in-law of Maurice Radke. Cherished grandmother of Jessica, Nathan, Alysia, Heather, Ryan, Claudette, Jamie, Brian, Nicholas and Elizabeth. Proud great-grandmother of Nina, Iris, Edith, Agatha, Anthony, Kailey, Devin, Emma, Amelia, Matt, Desmond, Faryn, and Samara. Dear sister of Margaret (Tom) Kearns, Cecilia (John) Schoonderwoerd, Bill (June) Krauskopf and predeceased by Mary (Basil) Horan, Joseph (Alma) Krauskopf, Betty (Bob) Price, John (Dorothy) Krauskopf, Clara (Norm) Kramers, Catherine (Bill) Feeney, Philip Krauskopf, Frank Krauskopf, and Leona McCarthy. Dear sister-in-law of Barb Krauskopf and Keith McCarthy.
The family would like to thank the staff at Stouffville Creek Retirement Residence and Chartwell Woodhaven Long Term Care Residence for their care and compassion for Anne.
Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 16066 The Gore Road, Caledon on Monday morning, February 13 at 11 o’clock. Interment St. John’s Cemetery.
