Anna Teresa (Abeles) Donnelly
Passed away at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre with family by her side on Thursday January 4, 2024 at the age of 98. Teresa (née) Meagher, beloved wife of the late Aubrey Abeles and the late James “Jim” Donnelly. Much loved mother of Colleen Abeles (Chris Whynot), Olive Abeles (Pat O’Connell) and David Abeles (Cindy). Cherished grandmother of Alison Burns, Laura Burns (Will O’Hare), Sean O’Connell, Kathleen Abeles (Jon Visentin) and Molly Abeles. Great grandmother G.G. of Marlowe O’Hare. Will be sadly missed by her sister, Sister Mary Meagher CND. Predeceased by 2 brothers James Meagher and Rev. Frank Meagher, and by 2 sisters Pauline Walsh and Lucy Walsh. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home on Thursday January 11, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday January 12 at 11 am from St. John the Evangelist Church. Rite of committal St. Johns cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
