It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and nonna, Anna on September 20, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
Reunited with her beloved husband Guido (2016) and her parents, Angelo and Gina Capuano. Survived by her children Maria Gabriele (John DiBiase) and Roberta Gabriele. Cherished nonna to Catherine, Natalie (Dave Dufour) and Christopher. Predeceased by her siblings in Italy, Lucio, Viola and Fernando. Anna will be missed by many family and friends.
Anna came to Canada in 1965 with her husband and their two daughters where they made a home for themselves in LaSalle. She was a very happy and positive person and loved her grandchildren dearly. Always having a smile on her face and spreading her positivity on others. She had a passion for her garden and sewing. She will be dearly missed.
A special thank you to St. Elizabeth, Amherstburg for their compassionate love and care shown towards our mother. We would also like to thank the doctors and nursing staff at Windsor Regional Met Campus for their compassion.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
Visitation will be held on Thursday September 26, 2024 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Funeral service will be held on the following day, Friday September 27, 2024 at 11:00am at Families First South Windsor (3260 Dougall Ave. Windsor 519-969-5841). Private family entombment to follow.
