It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Amy Lou Dresar
(Coelho) announce her peaceful passing after a courageous battle with
cancer on March 27, 2024 at the age of 42. Her final days were spent
surrounded by family that loved her dearly.
Amy’s life would seem too short, however her journey touched the lives of
many, leaving behind a treasure of memories and a legacy of strength and
resilience. Her unwavering spirit in the face of adversity was an
inspiration and will forever be imprinted on the hearts and minds of
those she touched. Her kindness, integrity and devotion to her family and
her unwavering faith in her God Jehovah will be forever cherished.
Amy is survived by her loving family and friends that will forever hold
dear her memory. Loving wife to Jonathan, beloved mother to Brooklyn
and Ava. Daughter to Frank and Linda Coelho, sister to Cindy, Bonnie
(Brent) Wilkinson, Sarah, Ashley (John) Dixon, sister-in-law to Shannon
(Dan) Dresar, devoted aunt to Natasha (John) Callum, Luke, Quinn,
Scottie. Fur mom to Diesel, Kylo and Halen.
Visitation will be at The Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel &
Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on April 12th, 2024 from
6 – 9 p.m.
Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday April 13th, 2024 at
the Shelburne Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 156245 Hwy #10
(north of Shelburne) with any overflow to be tied in to the service at The
Town and Country Room at the Centre Dufferin Community Complex,
200 Fiddle Park Lane, Shelburne, Ontario. Refreshments will be served
there following the service.
In lieu of flowers, Amy would appreciate donations be made to The
Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.
A tree will be planted in memory of Amy in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 22nd Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
