It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Amanda Furey, aged 41, of Georgetown, NL at Carbonear General Hospital on May 12, 2024.
Predeceased by her father: Thomas Furey. Grandparents: Agnes & Thomas Hayes and Bertha & Patrick Furey. Step-grandfather: Jim Rideout. Uncles: Patrick, Alphonses, Sam (Peggy). Aunts: Irene and Mary.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, Mother: Madonna Furey. Brother: Devin (Jessica). Uncles: Philly, Gerald (Kathy), Tom (Irene), Bill (Mary). Aunts: Bernadette (Kevin), Bert (Jamie), Roselatia (Lenard), Loretta (Bob), Karen, Peggy, Kathy (Melvin), Judy (Max). Nieces: Harmony, Paisley Special cousins: Hannah, Bret, Nate.
A number of loving cousins from Georgetown, Vancouver, Fort McMurray, White Bay, Ontario, Conception Bay South, Florida, Edmonton, and British Columbia.
Resting at Broughton’s Funeral Home, Brigus on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 11:00am-9:00pm.
Funeral to take place on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 11:00am from Our Lady of the Snows Church, Marysvale.
Cremation to follow.
