It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Agnes Mandarino. She passed away peacefully on May 24, 2024, surrounded by her family. Agnes was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, whose memory will forever be remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Agnes shared 51 years of love and cherished memories with her devoted husband Agostino (Gus). She was a nurturing and loving mother to her three children, Cathy, Jennifer (Fil) and Richard (Enza) and was an incredible nonna to her five grandchildren, JohnCarlo, Julia, Milana, Antonio and Lucas. Agnes was the pillar of the family, and her passing will leave a profound void. She had the most immense pride and joy for her children and grandchildren, and she was a testament to the power of love, family and kindness.
Agnes was predeceased by her beloved sister Mary, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond, and her nephew Louie, whose memory she cherished deeply. We find comfort in knowing that Agnes is now reunited in Heaven with her dear sister and nephew, and her parents Aldo and Maria. She is survived by her siblings Lucy, Manfredo and Anna who will forever hold her close in their hearts.
Agnes’s extended family includes many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, and her numerous wonderful friends who were like family to her. Her kindness, generosity, and genuine spirit fostered countless lifelong friendships.
Agnes lived a life full of love and compassion, always putting her family and friends first. Her legacy of warmth, strength, and selflessness will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the pleasure of sharing in her journey.
Visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Home (Woodbridge Chapel) (8003 Weston Road, Woodbridge, Tel. 905-850-9500) on Tuesday, May 28 from 6-8pm and Wednesday, May 29 from 3-8pm.
Further details will be available shortly about a Funeral Mass which will be celebrated on Thursday May 30, 2024. Entombment to immediately follow the Funeral Mass at Beechwood Cemetery (7241 Jane St., Concord, On.)
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to HOSPICE VAUGHAN in Agnes’s honour or to a charity of your choice.
