Obituary
NICKERSON, Addie Geneva – 96, Roseway Manor, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Roseway Manor, Sandy Point. Born May 28, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Lillis (Smith) Swim. Addie had a few hobbies and interests, she loved to go shopping, play Bingo, and play cards. She also did a bit of gardening and went camping too. She was a hard worker that worked well into her 70s. She is survived by her children, Brian, David, Eric (Dorothy), Travis (Rhonda); grandchildren, Tammy, Blair, Melissa, Vaughn, Shawn, Alex, Jenna, Shanya; great-grandchildren, Duncan, Jace, Adalyn, Dustin, Shalyn, Graham, Jory, Briea, Levi, Kendall, Brynlee, Elsie, and Brantley. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Nickerson; siblings, Rosie, Celeste, Romayne, Buena, Howard, Romie, Bernard, Whitfield, Job; and a grandchild, Darren. There will be a visitation on Saturday, from 6-8 pm at the H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, where the funeral will follow, Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 2 pm with Rev Shaun Hatfield officiating. Interment to follow in the Old Kirk Cemetery, North East Point. Memorial donations may be made to charity of your choice.
