Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday, December 30, 2022. Werner, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Gerlinde (née Reichert). Loving father of Oliver Uhrig (Catherine) and Karen Hurst (Don). Cherished grandfather of Tyler (Susan), Corey (Alicia), Chris (Yoshiko), Ryan (Gigi) and Matthew, and great-grandfather of Hunter, Jordyn, Auston, Jackson, Dominic, Ken, Rey, Julianna, Elizabeth and Mackenzie. A special thank you to Carriage House for their care and compassion.
