It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Joan MacDonald on Tuesday August 6th, 2024 at The Palace Long Term Care at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Mervyn MacDonald. Dear mother of Trudy Duval (Robert), Randy MacDonald, the late David MacDonald and Rick MacDonald. Cherished grandmother of Debbie, Rachel, David, Crystal, Shawn, Brandy, Derek and their spouses and is survived by many great-grandchildren. Loving sister of Ronald Wood (Shirley) of British Columbia and sister-in-law of Edward MacDonald (Shirley).
Barbara’s family will receive friends at Munro & Morris Funeral Home, 114 Main Street South, Alexandria on Friday August 16th, 2024 from 11 – 1 o’clock followed by a service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Cremation will follow.
