It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Rochon of Hawkesbury, Ontario. Ronald passed away after a long battle with cancer, on Friday, February 10, 2023, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Louise Roy. Son of the late Rhéal Rochon and the late Dorothea Black. Step-father of Karl, Marie-Josée (André Bisson) and Sébastien Morrissette. Grandpa of Samuel and Xavier Lemieux Morrissette, Maélie Morrissette Gosselin. Also survived by two brothers, Donald (Margaret Mallory) and Paul (Anne Van Adrichem); one sister, Arlene (Gerry Provick); one brother-in-law, Jean-Jacques (Nicole Galipeau); two sisters-in-law, Jacqueline (late Réjean Larouche) and Ghislaine Roy and many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by one brother-in-law, Jean-Pierre (Yvonne Dubuc) and one sister-in-law, Françoise Roy.
In order to respect Ronald’s last wishes, everything will be done in private.
A special thank you to the members of Ron Rochon RC Club of BG Resort, Texas. The family would also like to warmly thank Louise and Andrée-Anne Gervais, the staff of the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital for their dedication and excellent care provided to Ronald.
