Obituary of Elsie Robinson
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Mrs. Elsie Mae Robinson who passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on December 16, 2023 at the age of 91.
She was born in Moncton, NB on May 26, 1932; She was the daughter of the late Nelson and Edith (Campbell) Osborne and the wife of the late Donald Vaughn Robinson.
Elsie was a spirited and feisty woman, she loved with her whole heart and you never had to wonder what she was thinking. She was a dedicate housewife and devoted sister and aunt. She loved going for drives in the car and never missed an opportunity for a meal out or a treat. She was also a member of the Sus Baptist Church for many years.
She will live on in the hearts of her sister, Hazel Rodgers; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and loving husband, she is predeceased by her brothers-in-law: Fred Rodgers, Murray, Noble and Alexander Robinson and by her sisters-in-law: Mona McDonald, Mary Ryan, Edith Armstrong, Myrna Cook, Glenna Starkey, Alice Robinson, Dolly Patton, Lillian Martin and Eurilla Hawkes.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus NB (506-433-1176) from where visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 1-3 and 6-8pm.
A celebration of Elsie’s life will be held from the Wallace Community Chapel on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 2:00pm.
If you would like to make donation in Elsie’s memory, the family has recommended the Sus Baptist Church or the memorial of the donor’s choice.
