Peacefully at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Friday September 22, 2023.
Mrs. Cora Ilmen, beloved wife of the late John Ilmen, was in her 92nd year.
Loving daughter of the late Winnifred and Borden Phillips and predeceased by her siblings: Albert “Bus” Phillips (late Linda), Pauline Smith (late Mike), Glenda Todd and Laura Rowley. Sister-in-law of Jim Todd and Joe Rowley.
Dear aunt of many nieces, nephews, and their families, Cora will be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends.
The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls on Wednesday September 27, 2023, from 11am until 1pm. A service to celebrate Cora’s life will follow in the chapel commencing at 1pm with Reverend Steven Smith officiating.
Interment in Royston Cemetery will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
