Frolak, Mary Frolak – It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Frolak (nee Bruzzese) on July 8, 2023 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Peter Frolak (1989). She is survived by brothers Sam Bruzzese (Dawn) and Dave Bruzzese (Rosemary)and sisters Martha Perata (late Bernie) and Kathi Brettell (late Jack) and many nephews and nieces. Best friend of cousin Jenny Chehowski. Predeceased by brothers Pat, David, Johnny, sisters Jenny Turner and Eva Carter.
Mary owned and operated Humberstone Fish and Chips (Mary’s) for many years. After retiring she volunteered at the Wellness Center where she cooked and helped with the senior dances. She showed her love for family by always cooking and entertaining them. Bruzzese family reunions were a favorite time for her. The family is thankful for the loving care she received at Plymouth Cordage Retirement Home.
Respecting Mary’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life will be followed at a later date. In honour of Mary’s memory, donations can be made to Niagara Health Foundation Welland Site.
