Obituary of Winnifred Ellen Saunders
With a heavy heart, but grateful for their 22 years together, Dave Parlee announces the passing of his beloved partner, Winnie Saunders, on Monday, April 11, 2022, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born January 18, 1956, in St. Martins, she was a daughter of the late Gregory J. and Freda M. (Gurr) Bennett.
In addition to her loving partner, Dave, Winnie is survived by her daughter, Christine; son, Glen; grandchildren; brothers: Leslie (Debra), Kenny (Heather), Donald (Margaret), and Edward (Gail), all of St. Martins; and sisters: Gwen (William) and Josie (Sherman) of St. Martins, and Barb of Moncton.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). A funeral service will be held at St. Martins Baptist Church at a date to be announced, with interment in Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
To live in the hearts of those we love is not to die.
On that eternal shore we shall meet to part no more. Eternal love, Dave.
