Kamula, William “Bill”
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of William Paul Kamula “Bill” on August 10, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospital at 86 years of age. Bill is reunited now with his children Paul (1993) and Susan (2014). He will be forever missed by his wife Marjorie (nee Daly), who provided endless support during his several medical issues. Loving father-in-law of Anthony Benedetto and grandfather of Nicholas and Catherine. Beloved brother of Peter (late Judy), the late Mary (late Nick) Fochuk, the late Olga (late Jim) Smith. Dear brother-in-law Leonora (late Angelo) Cutaia. Bill will be missed by many extended family members and dear friends.
Bill led a very full life as a musician heading a trio called The Cameos on CHCH and worked as a stunt man and actor in several TV series. He was very proud to tell everyone he had posed as a Jolly Green Giant. In the year 2000, Bill received a Cornerstone Award from Hamilton Health Sciences for his fundraising efforts.
Many thanks to Dr. Alton, Dr. Boyle, and the nurses and PSW’s who helped Bill during his illness. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Sts. Peter and Paul Parish or St. Joseph’s Health Care.
Funeral Mass will be Friday, August 12, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Church (50 Brucedale Ave E, Hamilton, ON), procession to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery to follow.
