It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Wilder Hernandez, on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at the age of 29. Beloved son of Aydive Martinez. Loving partner of Tiffany Prouty. Lovingly remembered by Tiffany’s children, Krista, Madison and Carter. Cherished son-in-law of Carrie (Chris) Baxter and Kevin (Cathy) Prouty. Treasured brother-in-law of Tim Baxter and Tom Baxter. Wilder will also be deeply missed by his niece Layla and nephew Christopher. Predeceased by his brothers Luis and Omar. Wilder loved listening to music and writing his own songs. He also enjoyed playing soccer, football, and baseball. Wilder aspired to be a firefighter. He had a deep love for his family and many friends. A funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation held one hour prior from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Cremation will follow. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to CMHA or Addiction Services – Bluewater Health Foundation (cheques only at the funeral home please).
