Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Uncle Walter Schur at the age of 101 years on June 28, 2022. Walter Schur was a life long resident of the Berwyn area. He was the ninth child of Dmytro and Maria Schur. He was born on October 7, 1920, the same year the family arrived in the Kerndale area. Walter lived on the family farm and enjoyed the farm life. He helped his brothers farm in the early days and then later on farmed with his nephew Larry Schur for many years.
Walter celebrated his 100th birthday at the Grimshaw Long Term Care faculty on Oct 7, 2020.
Walter was predeceased by his parents and all of his siblings. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no funeral at Walter’s request.
