Obituary
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of
Vivian Lee Pigeon of St. Albert on October 24 at the age of 71 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years 9 months
Roland: children Tylene (Jason Koops), Sheldon, and Shondelle
(Shonny); sister Lynne Burr (Jack) of BC, and brother Lorne Harasym
(Amber Kyle) of Grande Prairie, AB, as well as numerous relatives,
associates and friends.
Vivian was predeceased by her parents Peter and Doris Harasym of
Red Deer; sister Bertha Harasym of St. Paul and brother Ken Harasym
of Edmonton.
She was born in Elk Point, schooled in St.Paul where she also began
her career in banking. Vivian and Roland were married there in 1969
then moved to Rocky Mountain House in 1976. They lived in Red Deer
from 1998 to 2018 and retired in St. Albert.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the family’s
request.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at both the
Misericordia Hospital Edmonton and Foyer Hospice St. Albert for their
care and compassion.
