Mrs. Margaret Veronica Kennedy Brown
It is with deep sadness that the family of Mrs. Margaret Veronica Kennedy Brown, born in Kilwinning Scotland on November 17th, 1931, announce her passing in her 91st year on November 12th, 2022.
Veronica passed away peacefully at Extendicare Nursing home in Port Hope, Ontario predeceased by her devoted brothers John, Edward, Martin, and Grant, as well as her ever- loving husband of 52 years, Philip.
Our mum will be lovingly remembered by all three children, Philip, Francesca, and Kevin as well as their spouses Margaret, Paul and Maria Antonia respectively.
Nana will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren and their spouses, Jacqueline (Tylor), Jeneva, Danielle (Matthew) and Isabel Veronica as well as her great-grandchildren Alina and Brooklyn Kennedy.
Veronica was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. She worked diligently with retired armed forces personnel over many years promoting respect for Canadian service personnel.
The memorial service will be held at Ross Funeral Chapel in Port Hope and mum’s burial (beside her husband) will take place at the Thornhill Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
Everyone is welcome to attend. Please make any charitable donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
