Obituary
Winifred Agnes “Una” Faruki (née Gillen) passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at Chapman House Hospice in Owen Sound, on Sunday, June 26th, 2022.
Cherished wife of Bob Faruki for 49 years. Loving sister of Patricia Murphy, Noleen White, Anne Kavanaugh and Michael Gillen. Dear mother of Aisling Lumsden and Saj Faruki (Carolyn). Proud grandmother of Emily and Erin. Una will be missed and remembered by her many friends and family members. Predeceased by her parents Martin and Mary Gillen and her sister Mary Finnegan.
Her passion for painting and poetry will be amongst the many memories we hold dear to our hearts.
A visitation will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th Street West, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492 on Thursday, June 30th, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. A Funeral Service for Una will be held in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 noon with Father Kuzma officiating. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Georgian Bluffs.
