Brown Bear Standing Strong
January 12, 1972~ July 15, 2022
It is with great sadness that Terrance was called home by the creator unexpectedly on July 15, 2022. Terrance is predeceased by his mom, his brother and grandparents. As well as others. Terrance is survived by his wife Melodie, his children, Honesty, Cody and Dakota. His grandchildren Lylah and Chicago. As well as other children who came into his life over the years that he called his own, helped raised and gave direction throughout their lives. His dad Alex, his siblings and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Terrance was a man who certainly lived up to his name, Brown Bear Standing Strong. He was close with his kids and loved them and his grand children. The joy you could see on his face whenever he was around them. There was no shortage of laughs and smiles. He had a big heart, he wouldn’t think twice about helping anyone who was in need, even if he was struggling himself. He still pulled that inner strength he had and proved he owned and earned his name. He always put others first and went above and beyond for those around him. He loved making people laugh and smile. People knew him as “A**hole”, but was he really? He could be, but he also was someone who joked about being one. He had plenty of jokes, he would even make strangers laugh if you were out with him and lucky enough to witness the way he brought laughter and joy to those around him. He loved listening to a variety of music, blues, country, rap, anything that caught his ear. If you were around him when he played music, there’s two songs that always made his play list. “Just can’t quit” by Jelly Roll and “That’s what she gets for loving me” by Brooks and Dunn. He would even sing them. Terrance leaves those who loved and cared for him with plenty of fond memories and he will be missed by many. A wake will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at the Band Hall, Cowessess First Nation at 4 PM. Funeral service will be held the following day, Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 11 am in the same location.
