ADESSKY, Shirley (Pepper) – Died peacefully on August 11th. She lived her life as the foundation for her family. She was incredibly loyal to her family and friends. Her deepest and unwavering love was for her late Husband of 68 years, Bob Adessky. Loving and wonderful mother to Steven, Nancy Croitoru (Ken) and Jim (Zeeva Millman). Sister and sister-in-law of the late Pearl Pepper, Norma Pepper, Herman and Myrna Adessky, the late Irving and Zelda Adessky. Beloved Aunt to her many nieces and nephews, and best friend of 85 years, Molly Miller. Her biggest joy were her grandchildren Jonathan Adessky, David and Erica Croitoru, Michael and Danielle Adessky.
She never sought the limelight, but everyone was always drawn to her. She lit up the room with her beautiful smile, laughter and unwavering optimism through all of life’s obstacles. She was a woman who received immense joy from giving to others whether it was making her famous cheese cake, taking care of her family when they were ill or being there to give life advice. She has inspired those closest to her to live a full life and follow their dreams. Her laughter and love will stay with us forever.
