Sharon Wilma Radigk-Kobialko July 15th 1953 February 17th 2022 avis de deces

Sharon passed away peacefully on February 17, 2022 at the Regina General Hospital with family by her bedside. She was a beloved mother, wife, mother-in-law, friend, and soon to be grandmother. Sharon was predeceased by her mother Freda Manz, father Len Manz, grandmother Violet Larsen, grandfather Laurits Larsen, and first husband Ron Radigk. Sharon is survived by her son Josh Radigk (Sarah), husband John Kobialko, her sister Marilyn Howard, her cousin Treva Sjodin, Aunt Eileen Tiefenbach, and several more relatives in the Manz and Larsen families.
Sharon grew up north Regina and attended Kitchener Elementary School before moving on to enjoy her high school years at Scott Collegiate. Many of her childhood memories stem from visits to the Larsen Farm, where her mother Freda grew up. Sharon loved rehashing these memories and held those times close to her heart. Her lifelong dream was to become a nurse and she accomplished that in 1972 as she graduated from the Grey Nuns Nurse Academy. Sharon went on to enjoy a successful 35 year nursing career including 18 years in the ER at the Plains and General Hospitals, the nurse at Luther College High school, as well as time with the Cooperators, Sasktel, Allan Blair Cancer Clinic, and the Healthline.
Sharon’s pride and joy was her son Josh. She was always extremely proud of him and was beyond excited to watch him become a dad and have her first grandbaby. She would relish in the moments where she could reminisce about fond family memories such as spending many summers at their cabin in Lumsden Beach and spending days at Regina Beach with their cherished dog Titan. Much of Sharon’s life was spent nurturing her son by being a dedicated hockey, basketball, and golf mom, and also working as a nurse at Luther College during the time Josh attended. They always enjoyed their time together that included countless lunches at Bonanza and dinners at Luigi’s and the Keg.
Sharon spent the last 14 years married to her husband John. They enjoyed the simplicity in life out in Qu’Appelle, like planting flowers and gardens, peaceful nights out on their deck , listening to the birds on a beautiful day, playing with their beloved mini Dachshund Bunns, and watching the sunsets as John sang and played his guitar. They have a strong faith in God and leaned on His word daily throughout struggles with chronic illnesses consoling each other with thankfulness and grace in Christ.
Sharon was the most selfless, caring, and compassionate person to enter the lives of all that knew her. She was best friend with her mom Freda and cherished every visit and phone conversation throughout the years. She had lots of great friendships which played a big part in her life. Sharon had personal success as a nurse and a model. She also just loved the simple purity that life had to offer. Some of things she will be remembered for enjoying include the Larsen farm visits , Lumsden Beach cabin, The Craven Jamboree, Nursing school and Nursing career, family gatherings, Western Pizza, Butlers Fish & Chips, Netflix, and her blooming garden in Qu’Appelle . She will be forever missed but will live on through the memories and stories that will be shared with her grandchild.
Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the General Hospital in Unit 6A, MICU,MDRU, FMU and various other specialists who took such gracious care of Sharon throughout the years.
A Celebration of Life will be held for close family and friends at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1909 Ottawa Street, Regina, SK on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Coffee and snacks to follow. Masking is mandatory.
