In loving memory of Serge Chretien, 72 years, born in Hearst, Ontario and died peacefully Saturday, April 23, 2022 at his residence with his loving wife at his side.
Cherished son of Eugene and Annette (nee Rivard) Chretien, both predeceased. Survived by his brothers Yves (Sharon predeceased), Alain (Lucy), Guy, and his sister Diane (Claude). Beloved husband of Christine for 38 years. Loving father of Madeleine (Marc), and Natalie (Stephane). Doting Grandpa Serge to Mila, Noah, Alexandre, Marlowe, and Maxwell. Serge will be missed by his nephew Sam (Laurie) and niece Sylvie (Eric), many in-laws and their families.
He faced with courage and determination the challenges of his illness; never giving up his hope for a better tomorrow.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, and nature. He was an accomplished musician and talented artist.
The family expresses their appreciation to Maison McCulloch Hospice Shared Care Team, especially his community nurse Christina, for their excellent care and support.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated.

233 Larch St., Sudbury, Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at 2PM.
Cremation with interment in the Civic Cemetery.
