Sandra Garnet passed away on April 6th at the age of 60 into the arms of her loving Saviour, Jesus Christ. Beloved wife of Brian Garnet of Blyth. Mother of Jason (Angie) Bechtel of Durham, Greg (Erin) Bechtel of Ingersoll and Sean (Erica) Bechtel of Wingham. Step-mother of Kelly Garnet of Toronto and Steven Garnet of Utah. Daughter of Don and Carol Plant of Londesborough. Sister of Don (Elma) Plant of Cambridge, Dave (Stacy) Plant of Nipissing and Trish Ryan of Alberta. Also survived by 13 grandchildren who will miss her dearly.
Sandy was an integral part of the Central Huron community, having invested her life into so many through the Clinton and Central Huron BIA, the Huron County HIV/AIDS Network, and the Made in Huron Artisan Market. Sandy will be missed greatly by the many lives she touched.
Visitation will be held at Huron Chapel EMC in Auburn Friday, April 8th, 7-9pm and Saturday, April 9th, 1-3pm. Service on Saturday at 3pm. Private burial.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
