It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ellis James Green on September 10, 2022. Ellis passed peacefully away at the age of 84 at his home in Hant’s Harbour with his family by his side after a hard faught battle with cancer.

 

Predeceased by his parents Eric and Emily Green.

Left to mourn with loving memories:

Wife Donna.

Children Donald (Dawn), Joseph, Derek, Charlene (Adam), Christa (Druva), Darrell and Carla (Nicholas).

Grandchildren Ryan, Kevin, Cameron, Kayla, Oliver, Isabella, Julianna and Ellie.

Brothers Eric John (Christine) and Nick (Hilda), and sister Marie.

Also many cousins, nieces, nephews and good friends.

 

Ellis loved spending time with his family, being outside, fishing, gardening and animals. He also enjoyed having his coffee on the wharf and having a yarn with anyone and everyone, and most of all having a good laugh. He will be missed, but never forgotten.

 

Visitation at Greens Funeral Home in Winterton: Monday, September 12, 2022 from 7-9pm and Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.

Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 2 pm at the Salvation Army Citadel, Winterton.  Burial to follow in the Salvation Army cemetery, Winterton.
