Roy H. McWaid
1959-2022
The sudden death of Roy Herbert McWaid of Williamstown occurred on
Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the Upper River Valley Hospital,
Waterville. Roy was born July 20, 1959 in Woodstock and was the son of
the late Howard and Pauline (Hovey) McWaid. Roy was also predeceased
by 2 brothers, James and George.
Roy is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Tina; 3 children,
Matthew McWaid (Megan) their children, Lily, Xander and Maddison;
Nicholas McWaid, his children, Mayson and Skylar; Chelsea Estey
(Kenneth) their children, Leah and Penny; 4 siblings, Janet Carter,
William McWaid (Linda), Sharon McWaid and Elva McWaid; chosen son,
Jimmy Bradley «Bubba» and his family. Roy is also survived
by many nieces, nephews and extended family that will miss him very
much.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207
Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from
2-4 pm. The interment will be held at a later date. For those who wish
donations made to ALS Society of Canada would be appreciated.
