Est décédé paisiblement le mercredi 21 décembre 2022 avec son fils Ivan, son neveu Robert et sa nièce Lorraine à son chevet. Époux bien-aimé de feue Béatrice Gagné et de feue Fernande Dumont. Père bien-aimé de Ivan Chouinard (Danielle) et beau-père de Suzanne Forget (Robert), feue Diane Leckie (Ken) et Richard Pellerin (Darlene). Prédécédé par ses parents Noël et Marie Laure Chouinard et sa soeur Armande Gagnon (Justin). Cher frère de Robert (Vivian), Thérèse Deschene, Réjean (Gaetanne). Pépère chéri de Natasha, Nathalie, Kendall, Chad, Curtis, Joshua, Michael, Mathieu et arrière-grand-père de 14. Il sera également regretté par plusieurs nièces, neveux, parents et amis. Roland a travaillé pour INCO Levack, il était Chevalier de Colomb 4 degrés, a joué le Père Noël pendant 50 ans lors de nombreux événements et a été pompier et inspecteur pendant 34 ans pour Dowling. Il était dévoué à sa paroisse et un jardineur passionné. Il était le plus heureux entouré de sa famille. Un merci spécial au CASC pour son dévouement aux soins à domicile. Un merci tout spécial à son neveu Robert et à ses meilleurs amis Conrad Tetreault et Gilles Desautels. La famille recevra parents et amis à la Coopérative funéraire, 4691 R.R 15, Chelmsford, le dimanche 8 janvier 2022 de 14h00 à 17h00 et de 19h00 à 21h00. Un service à la chapelle aura lieu le lundi 9 janvier 2022 à 11 h. Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 with his son Ivan, his nephew Robert and niece Lorraine by his side. Beloved husband of the late Beatrice Gagné and the late Fernande Dumont. Loving father of Ivan Chouinard (Danielle) and stepfather of Suzanne Forget (Robert), late Diane Leckie (Ken) and Richard Pellerin (Darlene). Predeceased by his parents Noël and Marie Laure Chouinard and his sister Armande Gagnon (Justin). Dear brother of Robert (Vivian), Thérèse Deschene, Réjean (Gaetanne). Cherished pépère of Natasha, Nathalie, Kendall, Chad, Curtis, Joshua, Michael, Mathieu and great-grandfather of 14. Lovingly remembered by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Roland worked for INCO Levack, he was a Knight of Columbus 4 degree, played Santa Clause for 50 years at many events, and was a fire fighter and inspector for 34 years for Dowling. He was devoted to his parish and an avid gardener. He was happiest surrounded by his family. A special thank you to CCAC for there devotion of care at home.
