Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Robert “Bob” Charles Kohr announce his passing on Saturday July 9, 2022 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on August 23, 1944, he was of the late Charles and Phyllis Kohr.
Bob was a Police Officer with the Saint John Police for 37 years, retiring as Sergeant. He had a passion for cars, especially Volkswagen and always kept his vehicles in pristine condition. Bob was a member of the Blue Knights Motorcycle Club and the NB Sporting Car Club. He enjoyed many hobbies over the years, including shopping trips to Bangor with Carole and travelling to New Hampshire with Dana to watch the Nascar Races. Bob doted on his grandchildren and loved attending their hockey games.
He will be deeply missed by his son Dana (Dawn) Kohr; grandchildren Tristen and Tanner as well as his canine companion Atlas.
At Bob’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. For those who wish, donations in his memory to the SPCA Animal Rescue would be appreciated.
