Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener, on Wednesday May 04, 2022, a long-time resident of Ayr, in his 92nd year. Beloved Husband to the late Margaret Ford (nee McLeod); predeceased by his daughters Lynda Bishop (the late John) and Nancy Kubassek (Dave); cherished Grandpa to Chris Bishop, Terri Bishop (Dan Stefan), Lindsay Rieck (Clarke), Shawn Bishop, Candace Sallans (Scott), Ashley Kubassek, and Aaron Kubassek (Allie); much loved Great Grandpa to Jacob, Lauren, Katherine, Alaina, Lincoln, Ella, Logan, Paige, Linden, Isla, and Olivia; Dear Brother to Ruth Heath (Howie), Russell Ford(Madelene), Ernie Ford(Enid), and Betty Boland (Hugh). Also survived by nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends may call at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland St, Ayr on Wednesday May 11, 2022, from 1-2 pm. A memorial service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2 pm and a Family interment at Ayr Cemetery. Masks are not mandatory, but feel free to wear at your own personal level of comfort. A light luncheon will be served at the home of Bruce and Margaret following the service.
