BAETZ, Richard Paul “Rick” (1960-2022) – surrounded by loving family at the Stedman Hospice, Brantford on Saturday, December 17th, 2022 in his 63rd year. Cherished husband of Lori Baetz (nee Ciotti) of Simcoe. Loving father & grandfather of Melissa Arcand of Kitchener, her daughter Victoria; Carolyn Anderson (Brock) of Waterford and Ryan Baetz of Port Dover. Rick will be lovingly remembered by Lori’s children Amanda Arsenauld of Grimsby, her children Brandon, his sons Jimmy & Lincoln, & T.J. (Alyssa), daughter Chloe; and Jodie Moon (Jacob) of Delhi, children Adan & Paige. Sadly missed by his siblings George Baetz (Dawn-Marie) of Simcoe and Jim Baetz (Karen) of Waterford. Rick will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews & extended family. Predeceased by his parents, the late Joyce (2018) & George (2000) Baetz. Friends are invited to share their memories of Rick with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation of Thursday, December 22nd, 2022 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Mullin officiating. Private interment of ashes at a later date. Those wishing to donate in memory of Rick are asked to consider Campfire Circle – Rainbow Lake or the Stedman Community Hospice.
