Richard Alan King
1973-2022
Richie A. King passed away on October 6, 2022. He was born on March
19, 1973 at Fredericton, NB.
He lived most of his life in Hainesville, NB. Richie’s pride
and joy was his daughter Josie. He never missed an opportunity to
talk about how proud he was of her. He loved his video chats with his
granddaughter Aurora and his morning wake up calls to start his day
hearing ‘Grampy”. Richie was a big sports fan and loved
watching the Toronto Blue Jays, Nascar and Football.
Richie is survived by his father Alan King (Joyce); his mother Cathy
(Moorcroft) Hanson; his daughter Josie King, Fredericton, NB; a
granddaughter Aurora King; a brother Cody King (Leanna), Hainesville,
NB; a sister Jessica King, Nackawic, NB; two nephews Jaxson King and
Jacob King; two nieces Hailey King and Jenika King; the mother of his
child Eileen Lavoie; his maternal grandmother Myrtle Moorcroft; his
paternal grandmother Nina King; several aunts, uncles and
cousins.
He was predeceased by his stepfather Greg Hanson; his maternal
grandfather Johnny Moorcroft and his paternal grandfather Cecil
King.
The family of Richie will meet with friends and family for a time of
visitation and refreshments at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis
Drive, Nackawic, NB on Monday, October 10, 2022 from 1 to 4 pm.
Interment will take place at the Lower Hainesville Cemetery on
Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 3 pm.
