It is with profound sadness that the family of Reginald
Lawrence Goodine of Island View NB announce his passing on August
15th, 2022, at Hospice House in
Fredericton. Born in Fredericton he was the son of the late
Murray and Alberta (Matthews) Goodine.
Reginald worked for 30 plus years with NB Power as a
draftsman, he loved playing fastball, bowling, salmon fishing and wood
carving.
Reginald will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 53
years, Diana Goodine (Patterson), one daughter Kimberly, 4 grand
children, Evan, Emma, Kamryn and Bryan, 1 step granddaughter Taylor,
daughter in law Willow (Nelson), brothers and sisters in law, Ray
(Norma) Patterson, Murray (Lorraine) Patterson, Shawn (Roxanne)
Patterson, Terri (Mary) Patterson, Maryann Patterson, Carol Patterson
and Debbie Dunphy.
He was predeceased by his son, Matthew Murray Goodine,
brothers and sisters in law, Gary, Stan, Zenus, Sadie and Mavis
Patterson.
Following Reginald’s wishes there will be no
visitation or service at this time. Interment will take
place in Sunny Bank Cemetery at a later date
A special thank you to palliative care unit and Hospice
Fredericton for the excellent care that Reginald received during his
time with them.
For those who wish donations can be made to a charity of the
donor’s choice.
Bishop’s Funeral Home as been entrusted with the
arrangements.
